computer boot error help
i have a dell inspiron 600 with windows vista and one day it froze and i turned off computer. when i turned it back on i got a black screen that has this on it

How far does it get when booting, if it gets by the initial screen and starts to loads windows then you get that screen try this:
Reboot and before the Windows screen comes up start tapping the F8 key, you should get a menu, now select SAFE MODE...Does it boot to desktop??? |

the boot screen flashes before it goes to what i was describing but it is there for only a second and i cant pree f8 before it goes away
