You need to give more detailed.
If you have a Word or Excel Document then the program offers password proctection. The same may go for other programs. If you want the document to be secure on the drive then if you have XP Pro on NTFS then you can apply permissions to the drive. If you want to password a file or folder in XP then there are programs to do it such as FolderLock. If you definately just want a way to password a file then there are archive programs such as Winzip and WinRar etc. and Windows own Compressed Folders which can be password protected. |
