Cool Settings for wireless backup in Vista.

I recently connected my ext. HDD through a Belkin N+ router. All's fine except I can't do the usual backup as if it were hard wired. When asked where I want to save my files I enter \\192.168.2.1 and I'm then asked for a userbame and password. My username to connect to the router is 'guest' and I don't need a password but this doesn't work when trying to connect to backup. Any ideas would be appreciated.

You'd probably get more help on this if you explain exactly how/where this hard drive is connected.

Is it plugged into a computer?
Do you have more than one computer connected to the router?
How are the computers connected to the router? Wire, wireless?
