VISTA Complete PC Backup not working.

Hi! My name is Apoorva. I am using Windows VISTA Ultimate.
Now, 3 days ago, I had created a backup using VISTA Complete PC Backup and it is stored on E drive.
Today, I went to E drive and deleted the folder name: "Windows Image Backup" where this

VISTA Complete PC Backup stores it's file. It was 16 G.B in size.

After this, when I run Windows Complete PC Backup through VISTA's Backup Status and

Configuration, it gives me an error message:

" The backup application could not start due to an internal error. Server Execution failed

(0x80080005). Please check your system configuration and try again ".

Had I not deleted folder from E drive, it would work fine.

Is there any way to resolve this issue?

Apoorva.

Is the folder still in your Recycle Bin Apoorva? If so, restore it. If not, try booting from your Vista DVD and click on “Repair your computer”, click on Next and choose Startup Repair. It may take quite a while to complete and you may be asked to reboot several times.

Give it a try and let us know how you get on.

Did you try repairing your installation apoorvasheth? If so and this didnt help, try disabling any third party security programs (firewall, antivirus, antispyware etc) and see if this helps.
