One of the problems here in the Divided States of America is politics. We're presented with a very poor choice of political candidates.

I travel a lot, and meet and interact with lots of folks daily. Most all of them are good decent people. Politics, for the most part, play a very small role in their everyday lives.
Yet judging by the media (print, electronic, whatever) POLITICS IS EVERYTHING. WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE IF WE DON'T PAY ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY. Good lord.
