I knew that!! Doesn't matter a 4mb video card won't play any "realistic" pool or snooker game. Not with any action to speak of or graphics that are cool looking. LOL

The name of the game is "Jimmy Whites cueball world" An archer Maclean production, Virgin interactive.
I looked into buying a graphics card is it pci/agp he asked. Anyway it was quite costly £30:00 pounds possibly more. I'll have to think about it.
Thanks for the advice it's been fun!!!!

According to this website below you need a 16mb video card, note that only says Minimum and I have found Minimum requirements are not usually good enough to play certain games. In other words, they'll play but...not as good as you'd want them to play:

Do you know whether you have an AGP slot or do you only have a PCI slot? I can't see a video card in either format costing you 30 pounds. Where are you looking to buy this card from? I have some friends who live in the UK and I've saved websites for buying there. If you tell me where you were looking maybe I can find a cheaper price for you.

Once again thanks for replying, I tried 2 local shops that both sell and do pc repairs neither of them are part of a chain just local shops. They were something like 126mb graphic/video card, that he said is the smallest you can buy. agp or pci one said £30 the other about £50 and if it is pci then he was unsure of whether or not he could get hold of one.(or was that the agp that he could not get hold of) How can i tell pci/agp? They both said that i would be better of replacing my cpu you know my base unit where the hard drive is.
I'm not very technical but i do appreciate the help.

a new comp is a better choice, your old system is too out dated to be upgraded with new parts
