unfortunately none of them work as they are only temp fixes becoz windows loses it again. Thanks anyway, do you have anymore suggestions?

Due to a bug in Windows XP & 2003 server, task bar tooltips sometimes appear behind the task bar. This is very annoying when you are trying to see the date by moving the mouse pointer over the systray clock.

I dont know whether there is a fix for this problem.. check back someone here might know..

Im not sure.. pcs are peculiar objects at the best of times.. if it really bugs you why not disable them completely

nah it will be ok ill just use the "Sort by name" method, that seems to work for abit.... anyway thanks again.
