In my opinion the world died in the 80s and started in 1975 when digital came in....
I value how beautiful this world used to be..... This first Jefferson Starship album is ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!! (1970) -- I dunno which is better,THIS OR GENESIS's FIRST ALBUM (1969) -- Both are incredible!! And this CASSETTE I got CHASE is thier first album and its insane also (Jazz-rock fusion) - 1971 When I started getting into collecting .. I found so much gold form the 70s and earlier and muisic formats I hadnt ever heard and they are gorgeous! Jazz-Rock Fusion Blues Rock (Jethro tulls first album is insane) Classical pieces mixed in with the music,etc...... ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

I got 2 records yesterday....
1) WAR - The world is a ghetto (This has gotta be thier best album as "WAR" so I understand why it went to #1!!) 2) A 78 (Full size (Same size as a 33)) - Symphony #8 in B Minor - Boston Symphony Orchestra . Sounds excellent!!!! (The 78 is in excellent condition)

I last got an 8 track and a record
 1) RECORD: Crusin 1958 - Recorded live from radio 1430 WIL in 1958 (12 songs,commercials and jingles are heard) -- Gorgeous!! 2) 8 TRACK: Chicagos First Album (Chicago transit authority) - I also have the double record....

I last got 2 records and a cassette
1) RECORD: Jethro Tull - My God! 2) RECORD: 2nd record of my KTEL "The hot ones" (2 records) 3) CASSETTE: LYNYRD-SKYNYRD-Pronounced (First album (I have the record also)) I have the first 1973 release (No dolby crap just pure analogue beauty and it sounds goregous) This is the first cassette i have had with a split song! (FREEBIRD continues on side 2)

I last got a cassette in the mail I ordered
Metallica - And justice for all This is a poland release and they left off 1 song... I dunno if they didnt like it or what... "To live is to die" is not there....... No Dolby which is nice....... Sounds just like the record so its 100% analogue sourced on the tape

The other day I finally got THE GOONIES (1985) recorded off analogue cable! (Cinemax - 1986)
Oh my its goregous...... On its official VHS tape its been DIGITALLY PROCESSED and doesnt look or sound as good..... Even the Japanese release is!! (I think the videodisc is the only analog release not digitally altered) It looks thin and disgusting......... Audio crappy...... Hearing the straight analog audio from Cinemax on analogue cable is amazing!! The pic is good also... It has depth and is just gorgeous! I also got THE BREAKFAST CLUB (1985) recorded from HBO (26/12/86) Audio is goregous on it also.... That movie is MONO and I dont think the official MCA tape is... It doesnt sound as good or warm @ all..... and the picture sucks.... Its flat looking and just disgusting! I also got BREAKDOWN - 1997 on VHS
