Good, the thread is active again. Uh. Yeah, Trump Towers, right in the middle of Manhattan. Not only seriously disrupting NY traffic, but likely costing a lot more than other prez places.

And the cost of President Obama's 2013 (the most recent year the Secret Service has provided figures for) Hawaii Christmas trip was $8,098,060.33.

Security expenses are out of Trump's and Obama's control although the Secret Service could conceivably get a break on the price for renting two floors (they want not one but two entire floors) in Trump Tower. I freely concede that will definitely cost more than the rent on the guest house they're currently paying Vice President Biden.

I thought it funny seeing her "driving around" (or at least being driven around) in a minivan when she started her campaign, just to try and "relate" to the public who'd possibly e voting for her. Then towards the end of her campaign, she's flying around in a private jumbo jet, and even bragging about it!

Now there's talk of a recount in some states. Hillary see's that this is getting a lot of publicity (main stream media) for a couple of weeks, so then announces she'll be looking into having recounts done. Talk about stealing the limelight!!

I think Hillary should have stayed clear of Stein's recount crusade, especially after she and Democrats kept insisting that Trump must accept the results of the voting.

Now we wait to see if anybody on the liberal side of the media figures out a way to blame Trump for it.

I consider the 2016 campaign as being conducted in an established American political tradition.

There are pages and pages of past political dirty tricks online. The one positive (aside from the entertainment value) is that they prove that the country has survived campaigns as bad or worse than the last one.

I am convinced that Lufbra could shout the crew with ease. He used to live within 30 miles of the worlds best brewery (Bass @Burton on Trent) with his magnetic personality and charismatic attitude would have made some really profitable connections. (I Know about your brew-master uncle, Dave.) So c'mon chicken man YOUR SHOUT...
Yip. A pale ale or eight is fine for me..
