Speakers stop working?
Hi,
I've had my computer since the summer of 07' and the speakers always worked, never had a problem. Just recently the stoped. I have the volume maxed, the speakers arn't muted, and there isn't any sound coming from them. I checked to see if the speakers were plugged in and they are... so I'm not sure what I should do. Now I have to revert to using head phones to listen to music, watch videos, etc... Can anyone offer any help? |

Well, I'd recheck all of your sound settings (icons in the system tray, if present, and the sound applets in the 'control panel'); I'm assuming that the speakers are plugged in correctly, power on, etc. Finally, I'd try the speakers on another computer (or another set of speakers on the present computer) - you may have already gone through these steps - but good luck!
