Gentoo or FreeBSD. If I need Windows to test programs or play games then I like XP x64, although imo Vista does have some improvements that I like.

I deal with this quite a bit in my work. these opinions have been going on since 1990 and I was not surprised (nor was Microsoft)
when the Vista opinions were quick and usual. So the Mojave Experiment was created to deal with this.

Go here http://www.mojaveexperiment.com and click on the left side one "Mojave Experiment".

When Captain Picard asks the computer to make him some Earl Grey Tea are you going to still be running Windows XP?

When Sailors built a ship to see if the World was actually flat, people [ashore] thought larger ships were useless and destined to fail.
We went to the moon in 1969 because ships evolved. Good thing some people decided to build ships capable of reaching the
edge of flatness.
