Hp dc7700 sff psu?

HP DC7700 has strange shaped PSU has a small 24 pin plug thats smaller than a standard 24 wire ATX motherboard plug.
Only one red and white wire that unknown voltage or whats its purpose? would like to use a 300/400watt ATX

HP DC7700 is a small form factor PC, looks like the old desktop not a tower right?

The DC7700 USDT (Ultra Slim Desktop) came with a 200w and the DC7700 SFF (Small Form Factor) came with a 240Watt

These are proprietary power supplies.

yes just like that I have a 305watt HP PSU that has a normal ATX plug on it but i do have another dc7800 Vista crashed i put linux on another hdd and that one goes fine but i was thinking of getting a laptop hdd in hope the PSU has less demands on it. Thanks

No but thanks for your trouble. The DC7800 that goes can see 16gb of ram i am better to focus on that and bin the one that dont go
