Message "Not genuine Windows"

For some years now I have been using genuineWindows Vista home basic 32 bit. When I switched on this morning , instead of my usual home page containing a photograph, I was faced with a black screen with the message "Windows Vista (TM), Build 6002, This copy of Windows is not genuine" in the bottom right-hand corner. The icons are still there and the computer is functioning normally but I cannot get my usual home page, just this black one with the message.
