Disc cleanup not cleaning up
When I use disc cleaner I see I can free up 28 files saving 3.41 MB but after ticking the boxes to send to rubbish bin ,I see that "no files were deleted " and no space created.The files referred to are:Temp 148kb,Backup 1,22mb,Log2.05mb and junk 478kb.Why would this be?

Try using CCleaner It is free and spyware/adware free. Excellant program.

See if it will get rid of the temp files etc. Post back with the results from this one.

Hi It would n't get rid of a temp file and also 5 log files,I tried Advances Cleaner System and that wouldn't do it either

what folder are those files in? usually if the files are being used they will not be deleted.

I have mu ch more than 15% disc space free,the files relate in the main to log files renegade,don't know what the temp file relates to
