Of course it also has all the goodies that IE really should have had in the first place, such as tabbed browsing. The author has made special efforts to support two of the most-used browser toolbars- Google and Roboform.

After having used the RSS/XML feed reader, I can tell you that it's almost a dream come true. It's as easy to use as the Links bar in IE. When you click on a link that represents a news feed, it shows up onscreen as a full-window tabbed display, just like any web page. To add a new feed, all you need do is copy the URL to the clipboard, click the 'Add a new XML feed' button on the toolbar, paste the link in the window that shows up, and pick how often you want the feed checked for updates. Entries can be organized (via a second button on the toolbar) just exactly the same as entries on the Links bar. The second thing the author has done is to add an XML Feeds button to the standard IE toolbar, right next to the one for Favorites. This pops up a sidebar, again, just like Favorites in IE, and gives you extra tools along with the standard tree view of feeds. I think that the Search button will be a great help to those who have dozens or hundreds of feeds to keep track of. This feed reader is alltogether amazing and works so smoothly that I get all misty just thinking about it.

All in all, Avant Browser is good and keeps getting better all the time.
This is an awesome upgrade.
