'Far Cry' Graphics Help

Yesterday I bought Far Cry for the PC. I'm having some issues.

First off, I'll list my basic PC specs so maybe someone can detect an issue right away.

- Vista 32-bit
- Asus P5K-SE/EPU 775mb motherboard
- Asus NVidia 9600GSO
- 4.00GBs of RAM
- Intel Core Dual Processor 6420 2.13GHz

1. On HIGH settings I cannot see any graphics.

^ That's all I can see when I get close enough to a wall (this is the first level of course).

-------------

2. On LOW settings I cannot see everything outside.

-------------

So I'm wondering: is this a technical software issue or a hardware issue?

Thanks

You need a better video card...

Minim:

Pentium 4 3.2 GHz, Pentium D 2.66 GHz, AMD Athlon 64 3500+
Video card: NVIDIA 6800 or ATIX1650 or better; Shader Model 3 ; 256 MB
Ram: 1 GB

Recommended:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo Family, AMD64 X2 5200+, AMD Phenom or better
Video card: NVIDIA 8600 GTS or better, ATIX1900 or better, 512 MB
Ram: 2 GB

And the list of video boards that know I can play this game: NVIDIA 6800, NVIDIA 7000 series, 8000 series, 9000 series, 200 series. 8800M and 8700M supported for laptops. ATI X1650 - 1950 series , HD2000 series , HD3000 series , HD4000 series.

Even though it's a cut down 9600, it is still a 9000 series GPU and that should be able to run the game.
What sort of Power supply do you have? Has it got enough power on the 12v rail for this card?
What nVidia driver version are you using?
