Firefox and Flash issues

Hi,

A few years ago I had this same problem that I am having now, but I can't remember what I did to fix it. Embedded videos won't play unless I am actively moving my house or tapping keys on my keyboard. This only happens in Firefox. Also, other animations won't play unless I am doing the same. Another thing that is happening is pages won't open unless I move my mouse. They go blank, and then when I move my mouse it loads. Please tell me how to fix this because I hate having to constantly move my mouse to do anything within FF.

Thank you so much!

Wendy

I am using FF 3.6.9
Windows XP

try disabling your addons to see if one of them is causing the problem. Did you try another mouse to see if it is causing the problem?

also try going to tools - options - content- and make sure images load automatically is selected.
