Vista Wont Boot - Jeez
System Restore from RE says it is unsuccessful

Done chkdsk /r on both partitions in RE

There is a PQService sector which I tried it on, but is reported it was an unrecognized file format, although I am sure it said NTFS

Repair says it cannot fix any problems (many times)

Wont boot in Safe Mode

SFC says it cannot run as there is a Repair Pending (deleted all Pending Files in Winsxs) - no good

Taken out disk and done HDTune for bad sectors - none

Checked it for viruses this way with Security Essentials - none

run seatools on the drive. http://www.seagate.com/support/downl...ls-dos-master/

you may also want to download a linux live cd if there are files you cannot afford to lose. I suggest http://www.linuxmint.com/download.php
