Battlefield 1942
I have installed every software title that I own successfully except for BF1942.
I have turned off UAC (User Access Control), DEP (Data Execution Prevention),ran the setup in compatibility mode for XP SP2 and ran the program in compatibility mode XP SP2. I have edited permissions to allow all users, ran as admin and everything else I can think of. I have an ECS Elitegroup 945 P-A mobo, P4 3.0 dual core processor, 4 gig pc 4200 ram, nVidia 8600GT vid card,300 gig seagate SATA HDD, 2 gig usb flash drive configured for ready boost. BF1942 still will not play. Any suggestions. BTW I have d/led all patches from EA BF1942 website, and followed all instructions found there.Should I dual boot XP and Vista? Any help will be appreciated. |
