Windows explorer problems
I have a client running Windows Me. On Nov 30th she ran ad-aware and has not been able to access the net since. I had her do a reinstall of windows with no affect. The net is accessable to other systems in here home as she has a small network and router.
How do I resolve this problem Roger |

Hi r.mccullough,
Download WinsockXPFix: http://download.broadbandmedic.com/WinsockFix.zip Run WinsockXPfix If you have any connection problems after removing spyware. At 1.38MB it should fit on a floppy.Unzip it on the problem computer and run the exe file. Please ensure, Ad-aware is updated , to Ad-aware SE and with latest definitions, before scanning, as ad-aware needs to be uptodate to handle recent problems correctly........all antivirus, antispyware progs need updating before scanning. Hope WinsockFix does the trick Cheers |
