Oh man, I have the exact same problem as you right now. Where can I get this partition magic? Though it doesn't seem to have helped you yet. But now that it's calling it drive F: can you access it from the command prompt?

partition magic is definitely a beautiful program, if you make alot of formats from within the operating system you oughta buy it.

I downloaded the demo and it wouldn't run for me. Kept talking about errors related to an "EZ-drive" or something like that.

Okay, so I downloaded Partition Magic 8.0. When I run it, it stops me with an Error #90 which reads:

"EZ-Drive has been detected on drive 1, but EZ-Drive is corrupt. Run the EZ-Drive setup diskette to correct this problem. For EZ-Drive support, contact your EZ-Drive provider."

Not only is that one of most annoying sentences in the world when read aloud, but it doesn't help my problem. I've never even heard of EZ-Drive. What's this program trying to tell me?

EZ Drive is DDO software used by drive manufacturers.

Hi Randall00,

I have split the threads pertaining to your problem from the thread in which you originally posted in order to avoid confusion.

Are you certain that doesn't create confusion?

So what does EZ-Drive have anything to do with partition magic and my ability to run it? Is there any other data recovery software I could get that may be able to help?
