Increase wifi adaptors range.
I have the Belkin N1 wireless USB adaptor. Does anyone know ways to increase its power/range? Any additional devices that would help or tips for optimising its effectiveness?
Any help appreciated. |

Well, I'm assuming that you are talking about the Belkin N1 Adapter in the link? The specs state a 1400 ft. range, so just curious what connection distances you are trying to negotiate? I would think that a home router would not be a problem - not sure that the sensitivity of the adapter can be adjusted but you'll have to check the manuals & the Belkin website. Of course, a 'stronger' wireless signal would provide a solution but that would be from the source an/or require the addition of an intervening 'wireless' repeater or range expander.
Well, hope others may be able to help - good luck. |

i got a homebrew idea if u willing to try? u can try and make a beam wifi Annetta with it. just take a coffee can and put the adaptor in it and point away lol works for me when im down stairs. use to get 40% without it. now i get 97%
just random quick fix. im sure they may be a more tech savy way |
