Question Flash FXP

I am having trouble with Chmoding some files on Flash FXP. I am trying to make two files and two folders Chmod to 666 or 777, but when I click 'OK', it says that it doesn't understand 666 or 777. Any suggestions? Maybe I should explain more?

I tried SmartFTP, but it's all weird. What do you recommend?

there is no windows hosting you can chmod. If you want to chmod files you must choose Linux/Unix server. If you are interested in it please pm me I can recommend you a good one.

Have you confirmed that you are on Windows hosting?

If so there is no problem with installing phpBB on a Windows server.

What files are you trying to chmod and why?

serji, If you have help or recommendations to offer can please keep it in the public forum. That way it may help others that come along later and not just the person that opened the thread.

Thanks,
z1p

Yes, I signed up for a Windows host.
What is phpBB? Is it a different type of forum maker?

NP. We do frown upon people just coming in and posting links, but posting recommendations for software and services in response to someone question is fine.
