Drivers for a newer Gateway system, please help!
I've got an E1400 model Gateway desktop that I need to find Windows 98SE drivers for.
When I look for chipset drivers, Intel only provides GPU drivers. I have disks from driverpacks.net and 98SE will not scan them for drivers. I have to select each folder individually and it would take hours to check the whole disk that way. What can I do to get drivers for this machine? Also, NIC driver is not installed so I can't get online on this system.

Does Windows not tell you the specific hardware, making it hard to find the right drivers, like "generic monitor", etc?
