We're having the same old winantispyware problem (pop-ups, redirects, their attempts to download...) Here is my HJT logfile:

Hi,
and welcome.

Print these instructions out for use in Safe Mode.

Download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.

Double-click VundoFix.exe to extract the files
This will create a VundoFix folder on your desktop.
After the files are extracted, reboot your computer into Safe Mode. You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode then hit enter.
Once in safe mode open the VundoFix folder and doubleclick on KillVundo.bat

You will first be presented with a warning and a list of forums to seek help at.
it should look like this

Pressing any key will cause a "Blue Screen of Death" this is normal, do not worry!
Once your machine reboots continue with the instructions below.

Then, run this online virus scan: ActiveScan

Copy the results of the ActiveScan and paste them here along with a new HijackThis log and the vundofix.txt file from the vundofix folder into this topic.[/

Thank you for your help. I did just as you asked, but no joy

. My HJT log follows. When I ran KillVundo.bat, it got rid of the hgdec.dll, but now I have a new .dll whose BHO and Winlogon Notify are bothdescribed as "(file missing)". So, I tried running the ActiveScan, as you recommended, but my IE kept closing every time the scan reached c:\WINDOWS\system32\tusqq.dll (aka the missing file). I even tried manually scanning the files around the location tusqq should have been, just to make sure that ActiveScan wasn't tripping tsdiscon.exe or tskill.exe by mistake. In the end I was able to scan almost all of my drive by manually selecting directories to scan. ActiveScan was clean, Adaware is clean, and Norton are clean, but I'm still having problems.

In addition to the popups, my computer will not go to stand by. It clicks off and then comes back on after about 45seconds. Additionally, when offline, IE pops up an alert box asking me if I would like to connect or work offline - even when IE is closed!

I read elsewhere that the file ASDF.exe has been linked to this sort of Ad-trojan, so I scanned my HD and found a similar file in my c:\WINDOWS\Prefetch folder listed as a .pf file. I went ahead and deleted the contents of that folder and rebooted, hoping it might take care of it. In the last 20 minutes I've been online, I haven't seen any popups, but I'm still not able to go to standby.

Hi,
yes, I understand. There is a "Look2Me" infection which don't allow the fix to work properly with the Winlogon Notify key.

He is what we'll do :

Download l2mfix.exe

Save the l2mfix.exe file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe.
Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop.
Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing
in 1 and then pressing the ENTER key.

This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2 or more... Notepad will open with a log.
Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread, please.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Yes, that's really a Look2Me infection. So, here is the second step to delete the files :

Open the l2mfix folder again and double click l2mfix.bat,
and this time select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing the ENTER key...then press any key to reboot your computer.

L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, Notepad will open with a log.
Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log,please.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder.

Ok. I hesitate to run the vundofix again...
Because this file:
O20 - Winlogon Notify: ursss - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ursss.dll
is very suspicious. But L2mFix is a very good tool and it didn't delete it.

Good, what we'll do :
Try again to run the VundoFix as reported in my post #2.
Only this : the file changed its name. So, replace :

- The file to delete :

C:\WINDOWS\system32\tuspn.dll

- The values to fix with HijackThis :
