In the search box I can type my name in small letters and it finds me.

Usually, it's readable but you just have to try extra hard to understand what they're trying to say, which is hard enough if they don't know what they're talking about. Sometimes, you can't understand what they're saying.

No, it's not, but the problem isn't a spelling/grammar error here and there. The bigger problem is when people are too lazy to even bother constructing proper English sentences, correcting their spelling (preview the post, or edit it after you notice a mistake), using full words instead of abrev. everything, gtting rid of vwls, using num83rs to r3plac3 l3773rs, and even occasionally going out of their way to senselessly make words more dIFfICulT To ReAd.

When they don't at least try to write a proper post, it's easy to ignore someone on the basis that they don't think their post is important enough, or they're too lazy, to use proper English; so why should we be bothered reading it? Read uripyores' link for more examples of moronic typing.
