don't understand

my screen keeps blinking and freezing and it says my nv_display or something i don't know ...something like it ...is not working

HELP

Um is it an error message? Does the sreen turn off or what just blinking on off??

the screen freezes and when back to normal it flashes black...sometimes it just turns off (screen)..i switched screeens before but it had the same problem

Reinstall your graphics card drivers. You can get the latest from www.nvidia.com

Download and install Everest. Tell us the name of your video card. In your first post you said nv_display, which is part of the nvidia driver, which means you have a nvidia graphics card.

Download the driver. When its downloaded, Open it up and install it. Reboot your computer and hopefully that will fix it.
