Computer is extremely slow

I believe I have a minimal amount of startup programs but my computer is extremely slow no matter what I am trying to do. Even if I am trying to switch from 1 explorer to another but clicking the tab on the bottom, it sometimes takes a couple of minutes.

Any help would be appreciated!

My computer..right click on your harddrive and choose properties

disk clean up is on the first page

underr tools you can defragment.... click on analyse first and it will tell you if it needs to be defrgmented.. from the tools you can also run an error check

check both boxes and restart for the error check
