Unhappy My sound is gone

so i have a sound card and it worked fine i didnt do anything wierd to it or anything one day i fire her up and im like oh lemme watch Old School and no sound then i try to see whats wrong but then it said nothing was so i restart
but when i do it says o found new hardware im like *** ? then when i uninstall the drivers and do Driver Cleaner and then try to run the driver cd and nope it says there is no sound card there but ya there is so ya anyone got some advice

Howdy Edgie..

Have you tried moving the cound card to a different pci slot?
