computer suddenly restarts...

hi all im having a few problems that while playing games like need for speed most wanted and counter strike source online and world of warcraft that it would suddenly restart my pc.

i have tried putting all the graphics options on the lowest settings but it still happens

i don't think that the problem is in your video card, the most common can be your RAM, low PSU. write more about this parts of your computer.

Sounds more like a heat issue to me...

Download speedfan below and let us know what the temps r.. What type of cpu do you have?

i have a amd 4200+ x2 dual core cpu

and it seems to happen less when i have the side of my pc off.

That points to heat.. Speed fan will tell you what your temps r. I have the exact cpu.. So it has to be really hot. I have had mine up to 67c with no reboot. But everyones different

ok well im not exactly at my pc atm so i will test it when i get home. anyways what do you recommend i do if it is a heat issue? i dont exactly trust the whole water cooling systems so i guess ill put in a new fan. i have 4 fans atm with 1 on the cpu 1 on the graphics card 1 intake on the front of the case and 1 blowing out of the rear.

ok im back at home now... and i have installed the program which temperature am i supposed to be looking at?
