gmail says ¨mail from¨ did not work in Evolution mail

hello,
I am changing to email because i changed to another provider.
using evolution instead of thunderbird in sending and retrieving the mail, now i got the message while sending mail using evolution (mailprogram Ubuntu) ¨ mail from¨ was not wortking.

Can anyone help me to be able to send mail again in Evolution?

Hallo again,

I don't have evolution installed right now, but make sure your settings look like this. Make sure you are using STARTTLS (or TLS, or some clients group it with SSL if TLS isn't listed). I'm going to compile and install Evolution soon and if you need additional help with setting up a Gmail account I'll be able to give you more details.
