gebruik ubuntu en installatie van derde programmaś

hallo allemaal,

2 vratgen:

Hans

Hallo

I'm not quite sure what you are asking because I don't know Dutch. Here is an attempt at answering what I believe you are asking.

I think you are asking how to install downloaded software that is in a file ending in tar.gz. gz is a compression format, and a tar.gz file is like a zip file in Windows. Usually there will be a README or something similar with instructions. Sometimes it will already be compiled and all you have to do is run the binary file, but often you will have to configure and compile (make) the program before installing. You can read about installing software here and installing from source here.

Logitech does not produce drivers for Linux (as far as I know), but there are some instructions on using Logitech webcams in Ubuntu here. I see that you mentioned wine. Do not use that to install drivers because it will not work. A driver for Linux will not come in an exe or msi file.

I don't think VoIPBuster is available for download for Linux or Mac OS, but there is some sort of web signup available here. There are several other VoIP clients available for Linux, including Ekiga.
