250 GB Hard Drive Troubles...

Hi all, I'm new here

Ok, I have Windows XP SP 2 and I have a 250 gb hard drive. Last time I formatted, I was able to partition all the unused space into a new drive (basically split the drive in half)...now, after I have done a clean install of Windows it recognizes everything as one big drive. Sounds good right? Well, it's showing me that I have used 108 gigabytes of space used, when in reality I am only using about 2 gigs.

I took pictures just to give you guys an illustration.

I am also having problems with the 30 gigabyte hard drive...which has "unallocated space." I think I messed it up when trying to install Windows but I would really REALLY like to get the information off of there if at all possible.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated,

Sean
