.JPG / .JPEG Question
Hi All,
What is the difference between a .jpg & a .jpeg? |

They're the same file type, really. No difference whatsoever.

That's weird. Why the 2 extensions for the same type of file?

JPG uses the internal compression algorithm of the JPEG format.

Operating Systems used to have a 8.3 file name method.
You can see this if you use DOS. So extensions such as JPEG had to be shortened to jpg. |
