WinXP can see Vista but Vista can't see WinXp on Network

I have a Desktop with Windows XP with a printer attached. I also have a laptop with Windows Vista.
When on my Desktop, under Network, I can access all shared files and folders on my Laptop, but on my laptop, when I click to open the shared files and folders (under Network) on my desktop, it says 'Windows cannot access \\computer name'.

How can I fix this? They both have file sharing, the workgroup name is the same.

Thanks for any help

I am of the backed off q9550 crowd. I really didn't notice much of a difference between 4 and 3.6. I even run at stock sometimes when I don't need it.
