Web page Help

I am trying to get a local network webpage on the internet , It works great on the Internal private network .

I have a Linksys router with a Static IP , I have Enabled DMZ pointed to the local IP where the web page is located and forwarded port 80 to that local IP also , but when I try to connect to my Public IP over the internet in the browser I see it resolving to the local internal IP but the page wont come up .

What am I missing ?

Thank you

David

Sounds like a firewall or something on the server. What web server are you running too?

Is it possible this is being blocked by your ISP unless you have business class service and are allowed to run a server?

It could be the ISP blocking outgoing communication on port80
can you try a different port temporarily?

Call the ISP and ask if they allow you to run a web server
