I hate...Hate....HATE Norton

I accidently downloaded a virus which no other program except for Norton would fix, so I installed it and the virus is gone.

Only now I can't uninstall Norton...When I open the cd and click uninstall components it says all the components are not there so it can't uninstall in, BUT there is no option for a reinstall or repair.

What other options do I have?

yeah the newest nortons are hardest ones to get installed/uninstalled...once its in.. it hooks into your system... however u don't need to download the WHOLE package/trial to get rid of the virus if u know exactly which one it is..Symantec.com has by each of its virus definintions/aritcles a one time or so autofix...

The option to re-install it is not there. The only option you get when you put the cd in is to uninstall.
