ejected cd still reads after new cd inserted?
The title pretty much sum it up, but when I have a data cd in the cd-rom drive, I'll eject it and insert a new data cd, but windows explorer and my computer still read it as the previous disc. Any easy fix? the device mnager for both cd drives say they are both working properly and and seem to do fine with audio cds and other type media. and it's both cd-roms
any suggestions on fixes would be greatly appreciated |

Welcome
Do you have the latest service pack, which is SP2? You could try disabling AutoPlay on the CD Drives properties Or you can contact MS for a fix http://support.microsoft.com/default...&Product=WinXP |

I have this problem, but thats because I disabled autoplay. When you put a CD in dose it automatically do anything? if not enable auto play
