Need Your Opinions/Help
My first post, and hope this is the correct forum. Please excuse if not...
I have a pc that crashed (XP pro) and so am using my older pc (2000 Pro 40gigs). I finally got a new hard drive(250gigs) for my crashed XP machine and was going to install it. I want to network the two machines together. HOWEVER, would I be better off installing the new drive in my 2000pro PC as my master drive, and using my current drive as the slave?? OR, should I go ahead and install the new drive in my XP machine and network them together? I mostly design sites using XHTML, CSS, PHP, and ASP. Some graphics too.. THANKS for your ideas/suggestions... -RH Last edited by Rodney H.; November 23rd, 2005 at 06:04 AM. |

I think the better question is, do you need 2 computers? Would having 2 serve you better than 1?

Well, I thought one for backup would be a good idea. If something happened to my primary computer, I could work on my secondary one. AND, I could backup my work on the secondary computer without having to burn CDs....
Those are my thoughts, anyway, but do they seem flawed?? |
