Question Adobe Premiere 6.5 question

Hello, I'm fairly new to Premiere, and I just completed a project using Premiere 6.5, and I ran into a dilemma. Once I thought I was done with a project, naturally I would gain more ideas for more clips to be inserted in between the current setup of clips (A/B editing). My dilemma was finding a way to insert the clips I wanted in between currently placed ones. I searched all over the program for a tool or something to "divide" clips to make room but I didn't see any. Is it just bad planning and "tough luck", or is there in fact a way to insert things in between clips?
