Already prepared to build quick one answer quesiton.




ok for the cpu power connector: 4-pin on the first picture, on the motherboard it says 8-pin CPU power connector yet its only four squares and if im wrong with that isn't their an 8-pin connector within those cables.

Part of it is covered up and you'll need to remove the piece of black plastic covering the other four pins. You'll need a power supply that has the 8pin 12v connector.

crap so this is hte wrong power supply or can i just stick two of the 4 pins in it

You only have one extra 4 pin. The other one is for your 24 pin ATX connector. You need a different power supply. What brand is that one?

opps

i think i made a mistake cuz look
1 x 20+4-pin ATX
1 x 4-pin/8-pin CPU
2 x PCI-Express
6 x 4-pin peripheral
2 x 4-pin floppy
6 x SATA

it says an 8pin in the specs but i don't c it

hi

I just read that 8pin for CPU is only required if you run Quad-core.
Will you?

There are adapters for 4 to 8 pin to be had.
OCZ should have adapters, or better descriptions.

Don't understand that power supply has a:

1 x 20+4-pin ATX
1 x 4-pin/8-pin CPU
2 x PCI-Express
6 x 4-pin peripheral

this power supply discussed here could have two 4pins.. just like the zalman example I linked to.

2 atx12V make one EPS12V
