Thumbs up Windows 10 running slow

My windows 10 running slow, I have run Malware-byte but there no virus also run
C cleaner but still slow

How about some specs, ie. how much/what type RAM, processor, etc.

1) Intel's "E6550" was released 15 years ago.
2) And only 4GB or RAM.

and you want it to be fast?

It was much faster until about two (2) weeks ago. I don't have this computer fifteen (15) years ago I bought this computer about Four (4) years ago refurbish

Also look at the Start Up Tab in Task Mangament maybe one of the Start up Programs is bogging it down?

Right click on Empty Space on Task Bar, then to Task Management then click on Start-Up TAB

You might try performing a Clean Boot. If everything is working fine now you can keep it this way or, you can add one Startup item and/or Service at a time until it slows down again. When it does, you will have found your culprit.

I wonder if a restore might help? (If the problem started 2 weeks ago ya might be able to back out of it so to speak)
