Unhappy My evil Tab-key

First off, hi everyone. ^^

Now for my problem; my Tab-key has this tendency of... shutting down whatever I'm doing.
Wether it be surfing on the web, browsing my files, or even playing a game, when I press the Tab-key (happens aprox. 1/10 times) it shuts down the window.
I've never had this problem before, and it does seem like a rather strange one (if it did it every time I pressed it, it would make abit more sense).

PS: What it does is more evil than regular manual shutting down of things.
I'll come with an example: I was writing an assignment for school, was at near 2000 words, began setting it up nicely, pressed Tab... and it shut down. Immidietly, without any "Are you sure you want to shut down Word without saving?" -warning.
Please help, I'm getting desperate here.

Go to Control Panel>Accesibility Options and uncheck everything to do with sticky keys, click OK. It's really just a guess but it's worth a shot.

The only other thing I can think of to do is try another keyboard. If the problem goes away, then you've identified the keyboard as the problem.

If it doesn't go away and if it's a laptop, look through the user manual for specialized key combinations involving the tab key to see if anything might apply.

Good guess, but I didn't have sticky keys enabled (not that I've ever seen it do that when it is).
I suppose I'll try and change the keyboard, unfourtunly I don't have a spare atm.
I'll come back later and inform you of my (hopefully) success.
