Updates

I am afraid now to update my pc with automatic updates. Last time I did it installed Win 11. Not all of my hardware will run on Win 11, so I had to revert back. How can I get the beneficial updates without installing Win 11?
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim,
You can choose which updates to download in the Windows update application. I also think that you should create a restore point if you have not already done so.

Hi Jim,
I have given you misinformation.. It appears that your only options are to postpone updates but they still come at the end of period. Or you can turnoff updates completely in services. (my preference)
Sorry about that, I had wrongly assumed that the Win7 options were still available. .
