upgrading the OS
I am still working on my WIN XP system, but lately decided to upgrade it.
Can I do it by inserting and operating the WIN10 CD? And also which version of WIN 10 shall I acquire – the OEM or the Retail? Pls advise |

first you need to see if your computer will run win10. Go to the computers manufacturers website, look for the specific computer model in the drivers section and see if there are any win10 drivers. If not, then don't upgrade.
also If you can upgrade, you cannot legally use oem. You must use a win10 retail disk/key. Last edited by renegade600; March 24th, 2021 at 10:19 AM. |

There's a possibility that if you're using Windows XP that your computer is very old, and it may not be able to handle Windows 10. |
