setting up windows without a mouse
I came across the unmountable boot volume error and had to restore my Acer Aspire One d255e netbook. It has recovered the windows 7 starter edition os and is now ready to set up windows, BUT the installation is asking questions, and expecting me to select options in a box...and it does not recognize my mouse...of course I can't go in to settings to see what is happening...how to I make selections without a mouse? I can tab to different paragraphs, but I can't land in a box to tic my selection!!!!

I got it! Used the tab keys...and then to select the box I used the spacebar! I was trying to get into the selection box....but that wasn't necessary! Small things can make a person very happy! Thank you ...

I am glad you got it sorted out and thanks for coming back and posting your findings. It may very well help someone else seeking help with the same problem.
