Ok, it looks like you will have to perform a restore to factory default. Did this computer come with a set of disks? If not, restart it and tap F8 continuously as it restarts? What options do you see?

No, it did not come with a set of discs. But when I get to the menu for the command prompt it has an option for a factory restore.

After tapping F8 it has:
Repair your computer
safe mode
" " w/ networking
" " w/ cmd prompt
enable boot logging
enable low res video
last known good config
directory services restore mode
debugging mode
disable auto restart
disable driver sig. enforcement

start windows normally

That sounds like it. Choose it and follow the prompts.

HA! So upon starting the restore, it gives me the option to create a backup! All that time copying and pasted wasted! Oh well!

It has successfully reinstalled and is working perfectly! Now I am transferring back alot of the old documents.

Thanks everyone
