I have played the game for a while and wanted to just reinstall so I could keep it all need with the mods and all.
My problem is now that I start the game and pick my characters race hair and all that. But it starts me off in the dungeon without picking birthsign, or skills. Then when the emperor asks your birthsign you cannot give hime one and your are completely stuck. I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled many times and the same, with and without mods attached. Thought maybe the disk info is corrupted but it worked the first time. Help would be well appreciated.

Make suer when you delete the game that everything is deleted. Go into your computer>c drive>program files and if there is a folder Oblivion still there after deleting the game then delete the folder. That may help you the next time your install the game. Make sure to reboot the system after deleting everything and before you reinstall the game.

there are cheats to already choose ur birth sign try that it might work
