Bios Update Question
Hi,
I recently got my laptop back from the repair centre and they have updated the bios for me. I wanted to reformat it and was wondering would this delete the new bios update or is it still safe on the motherboard? thanks for the help in advance. edit: When I said reformatting I meant using a recovery cd to return the laptop to the original factory state. Your bios update will not be affected 123evilme. The bios software is stored on a small memory chip on your motherboard so it is not affected by reformatting or reimaging your hard drive.
