dual booting windows xp and windows 95

Does anyone know if it's possible to have a dual boot system with windows xp and 95? is it possible to have the two partitions formatted differently (one ntfs and one fat32)? Has anyone ever done it? Any tips on it? How would i even start to go about it?

Yes it is possible.

You need (atleast) 2 Partitions.
If you do not have these then you will have to create them.
You can use Partitioning Software such as Partition Magic, or you can use the DOS program FDISK.
If use use FDISK then you will wipe your Harddrive completely.
(Remember to backup important data)

One you have created your 2 partitions you will have to format them.
Are you using 95B? If so you should have FAT32 support.
If not you will have to format as FAT16.

You can then install Win95 on the first partition.

When 95 is installed you can install WinXP.
Insert the CD at bootup. If your CD-ROM does not boot then you will have to create the XP startup disks.

When installing XP you will have the choice of which partition to install into. Choose the second partition.
It will also give you the choice to format the partition. At this point you can choose to format with NTFS.
XP will format the partition and then will proceed with the install.

XP will add it's own bootloader to choose between 95 & XP.
